The New CIO

This series was started as a way for me to explore what the CIO of tomorrow will look like.  From this series, an article titled “The Futureproof CIO” was born (co-authored with Gene De Libero) and published by The Cutter IT Journal.  Additionally, Gene and I partnered on  a new website titled CIOEssentials was began.  Jump over there if you want to find out more about the role of the CIO in the future.

Small Business CIO

This is my latest series and it takes a look at what Small Business IT is doing today and what Small Business leaders are doing to prepare for the the changes are the coming for small business IT.

I’ve done some research for this series that includes contacting Senior IT leaders of IT within small businesses around the country. This research has been extremely interesting and vital to my understanding of the role of the Chief Information Officer (or VP or Director) within Small Business. I”m contining this research and will be writing more on the topic of Small Business IT.
