Foto Friday – Turtle Sunning

Here’s a shot of a turtle sunning itself that I captured over the weekend. I needed to get out of the house for a few hours so I went up to the Heard Natural Science Museum in McKinney for a walkabout. Wasn’t much activity other than turtles.

I caught this one with my Canon 1D Mark III, Canon 1.4x Extender and Canon 400mm 5.6 L sitting on my Gitzo Monopod.
