Foto Friday – Cardinal Taking Flight

Went out to my regular birding location this weekend and captured this Cardinal while he was about to take off. The light wasn’t great but I liked this composition. Captured with Canon 1D Mark III with the Canon 400mm 5.6 L + Canon 1.4x Extender sitting on my Induro CT314 tripod.
