This team was responsible for training using face-to-face training methods and e-Learning methods.

* Improved service metrics by 20% by developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve service levels, create cost-effective operations and more efficient project management practices.

* Responsible for managing the technical support team for all clients in North America.

* Responsible for Profit & Loss (P&L) for the technical support group. Budget consisted of approximately $1 million per year.

* Implemented processes to improve customer service ability and turn around times.

* Created and managed publication of the quarterly technical newsletter sent to all customers.

* Worked closely with client to develop a web based reporting platform and portal for wireless engineers to view their work activity.

* Involved in managing post-sales support for accounts totaling $10 million.

* Supported regional sales staff with design and implementation of wireless LAN systems (wi-fi) for use in hospitals and manufacturing facilities.

Test Engineer (1998 - 1998)
Applied Innovation

Responsible for testing the operation of the DSAM 4800 ATM Switching platform. Test plans were created to test functionality of this new platform. Functionality covered in these tests were Signaling System 7 (SS7), Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) and Operating System functions. Platform was built using the Qnx OS.

* Developed test specifications and procedures and worked closely with development team to test ATM telecom products.

* Created and maintained project management schedules for software/hardware testing and development.

* Responsible for ensuring on-time delivery for testing and adherence to the project schedule.

E.T. Communications

ET Communications, which did business as "Unwired", was founded in November 1995 to provide wireless telecommunications solutions and products businesses.

The initial focus was on the Oil & Gas industry in Oklahoma with most of our business being the sales, implementation and service of telemetry equipment for oil and gas systems throughout the state. Most of the telemetry services were provided using Cellular service and PCMCIA (now called PC Card) modems across the cellular system.

The business operated for 2 years and 8 months and was profitable during each quarter.

I've had the pleasure of working with Eric on a few projects. His understanding of the relationship between business and technology is impressive and his broad, practical skill set is as functional as it gets. Eric has a firm grasp of the how's/why's of a project, from both the high level and more detailed views and also knows his way around change management. Eric has served as the contract project manager at the Boy Scouts of America for our Content Management System (Sitecore) implementation project since August 2007. He has achieved all our expectations despite considerable adjustment in corporate goals and methodology. He further added our Social Networking project to his agenda and deftly moved the project from one platform to another (Community Server) greatly expediting the process and benefitting the organization. He has deep expertise in Web 2.0, works well throughout the organization at all levels, and is focused on meeting deadlines and meeting organizational needs in creative ways.
Eric was a great manager to work for, I was very disappointed when he left and the web team seemed to fall apart without him. All the initiaves he put forward seemed to fall by the wayside and the projects all stalled. His leadership loss is definitely moured at the Boy Scouts, but I understand his leaving and moving up in the world to a new and better position. I would work for him in a New York minute! He has panache as a leader and handles difficult and often mired corporate politics when others fail. He definitely was the one leading all the projects at Boy Scouts. He will do well wherever he lands, and I definitely would work with or for him again if given the chance, there is no higher praise than that.
