You might like learning about Lincoln Electric in Cleveland, Ohio.

They have interesting incentives to encourage participation and meeting with employee representatives. I'm doing some research on it now!

Pam Hoffman
http://seminarlist.blogspot.com
http://twitter.com/PamHoffman

Like anything it is a matter of taking an idea and adjusting it in accordance with the dynamics and requirements of your organisation. Taking things from a literal perspective would suggest leaving yourself open to unnecessary flaws.

I have seen participative management in action and when undertaken properly it works in creating an interactive, dynamic culture that harnesses all the skills of individuals often overlooked. It also alleviates unnecessary power-trips that occurs all too often amongst management.

I am a big supporter of Ricardo Semler's ideas and believe with the right approach, the right values it creates a great foundation to unlimited success. The work and result ultimately remains up to you.
