Tracie and I spent 7 wonderful days in Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park and the surrounding area.

Loved the trip and the area.

Recommendation: If you visit the area, check out Flanigan’s Villas or Flanigan’s Inn in Springdale UT as places to stay. Wonderful people, service and villa (we stayed in one of the Villas).

Brown http://ericbrown.com/?p=703 Well folks….Friday Sept 12 was my last day on the beach.  We fly back to Dallas in the morning…hopefully we get in before Ike hits town.

Here is one last pic from the beach…pretty much a portrait of me for the entire week :)   That’s my  handy-dandy Canon 40D with the awesome Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS lens.

I’ve had some time to catch up on some reading and think about some additional topics to write about…check back next week for what I hope are interesting posts. See you next week!

Brown http://ericbrown.com/?p=697 We made it to Wilmington NC on Sat Sept 6th and found that our condo had no electricity. Due to the timing, we stayed in the condo Saturday evening but were then moved into a House on the beach.  The house is wonderful (pics coming soon)…4 Bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 3 levels, 3 decks and on the beach.
